Katie Meints was born and raised in Fairbury, IL. She moved to Peoria, IL for college, started her own photography and graphic design business, eventually settling in Mahomet, IL in 2012. Her passion to provide a world-class product and first-class customer service propelled Katie to the top of her profession for over 12 years.

Katie attended Illinois Central College where she earned an Associates Degree in multimedia. Her skills in multimedia give her a unique insight to leverage various media outlets to establish proven branding and marketing methods to present her clients' product to achieve the desired results.

Katie entered the Real Estate world to exercise her love for marketing and passion for helping others. Assisting clients with their home buying and selling needs, and using her own past experiences of small business ownership to help her clients find the perfect location for their business is what drives her! Her career in Real Estate has grown to include the challenges of not only helping her clients achieve their dreams, but also making other agents successful and providing her team with top-level support and guidance. In addition, in the Spring of 2024, Katie took on the role of Designated Managing Broker at the 2nd and 3rd Green Street offices where Emerald Partners resides at 602 S Neil St Suite A in Champaign IL and 210 W Oak St in Fairbury IL.

Katie is married and still resides in Mahomet, IL with her husband and two children. In true artist fashion, she spends her free time creating and designing, spending time outdoors, and dreaming of her next family vacation!
